Board Meeting

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

I. Call to order

President Dan Ignarski called to order the meeting of the Coventry Owners Association, Inc. at 7:34 p.m. at Laurie Capece’s home.

II. Roll call

The following persons were present:

Dan Ignarski, President

Gerry Geddings, Vice President

Laurie Capece, Treasurer

Gina Parson, Secretary

Bonnie Watson, Ron Grimes, Kathryn Garrow, Tara Frederick, and Marie Hartnett, Members at Large

III. Open issues

a) Capece gave Treasurer report stating that 50% of homeowners have paid dues.

b) Ignarski spoke with brick mason regarding installation of caps for brick wall.

c) Board discussed making a more permanent sign for front entrance after it is repaired.

d) Positive feedback regarding newsletter distribution. Newsletters will be written quarterly.

e) Watson awarded Yard of the Month to home on Bolton Abbey Drive.

f) More fountain repair estimates are forthcoming.

g) Grimes received architectural committee requests from residents regarding a fence and a pool.

h) The Board discussed the addition of solar panels and whether there were restrictions in the covenants.

i) Parson put in service requests for the sidewalk on Middleham as well as scheduling a cleaning of the neighborhood drains.

j) Capece putting notice of dues letter in mail later in the week.

IV. Old business

a) A trailer parked on Bolton Abbey Drive was removed, ceasing complaints from some residents.

b) The Board will be accepting new bids for landscaping at the front entrance.

c) Octoberfest party tentatively scheduled for October 1st or 22nd.

b) Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30.

V. Adjournment

Ignarski adjourned the meeting at 8:40 p.m.
